In the world of interior design, some trends really irk me. Overdone shabby chic decor, for example, can make a room feel cluttered and disorganized instead of stylishly aged. Another trend that I find less appealing is overuse of open shelving, which often leads to a chaotic, messy look. I also feel that heavy reliance on monochrome color schemes can drain the life and personality out of a space. Lastly, I've noticed a growing trend of oversized furniture in small spaces, which makes the room feel cramped and uncomfortable.

As a blogger, I've come across numerous interior design trends over the years. While some are truly inspiring, there are a few that I personally dislike. One such trend is the excessive use of shiplap, which can make a space feel too busy and overwhelming. Additionally, all-white, sterile interiors tend to feel cold and uninviting, making it difficult to create a cozy atmosphere. Lastly, using too many trendy and bold statement pieces in a room can make it feel cluttered and take away from the overall design aesthetic.
